Getting the RIGHT TEAM on the Bus (OTB) has become one of the most popular and successful GPL team workshops as it allows team members to work through the key improvement areas of the ‘core’ business processes, allowing each team member the opportunity to contribute to the future development of the systems and processes of your accounting firm. OTB is practice management driven and will aid in aligning your team members with the vision and goals of your business.
There is no greater force than a team working closely together in pursuit of a common goal. From working 1 on 1 with partners of accounting firms, we soon discovered the ability to coach and train the team is just as important as the partners. Using the Good to Great concept this full day workshop is designed to focus, align and challenge the team on which direction your BUS is heading and how we create greater efficiencies to get there.
One of our Coaches will facilitate the ’11 Secrets’ either in a group environment in your state or a 1 on 1 day at your office that will supercharge your team and create a team that will take far more initiative with growing and improving the results of your firm.
The ’11 Secrets’ you and your team will uncover and brainstorm on the day are:

- Where is your bus headed; reassess your vision ensuring the team are aware of where you are heading

- Who’s doing what? Identify key roles; partners, managers, accountants and the administrative team
- Your induction & selection process; set or create your process
- Your training process (technical & non technical); set a 12 month plan for your team
- Building accountability with KPI’s; let the team create their own set of Key Performance Indicators and measuring process to accountability

- Personal Development to greater success; create a plan for each team member

The Key Outcomes of the day include the following:
- Each team member will have a clearly defined understanding of where the firm is headed and what role they will play in the future success of the business.
- As the day will be facilitated by a GPL Coach, the team will be able to benchmark themselves against other firms.
